Disqusted!!

I think we all are a little frustrated with Disqus right now. It’s glitching which makes it hard for us Freaks and Geeks to enjoy threads, post music, chat with friends, or for Puddles the opportunity to share her favorite recipes. Something has got to give.

So I thought we could share our frustrations here. Tell us what problems you are having with Disqus. For me it’s a little bit of everything. But the inability to rely on notifications is the biggie. If it shows I have notifications sometimes they are ones I’ve already read. Other times it shows I have none at all but when I go to the notification page I have a bunch of new ones. I’m also having problems going to site to site. 

Share your glitches and also any suggestions or ideas that helps such as changing browsers. Or should we all just get hammered? Or give Disqus the bird? If you want to vent, please do. Just do so respectfully. And if I’m not here it’s because I can’t get here!!

Days of the Week

Today is Tuesday so it reminds me of the old Skynyrd song “Tuesday’s Gone”. Name or play any song with a day of the week in the title. Or in the lyrics. Or maybe in the name of a group. Play ‘em all. Or play what you like. It’s only Tuesday so we must power through to the weekend. Enjoy and like Puddles tells us HAVE FUN!!

Duets

 Amazing duets are a big part of music history. Two powerhouse performers coming together to make music magic. I immediately think of Stevie Nicks and Don Henley with their incredible performance of Leather and Lace in 1981. In country music duets are a big part of its history. But the pairing I instantly think of is Patty Loveless and Vince Gill. So what are your favorite duets? You can also name some of your favorite duos such as Simon and Garfunkel or Haulin’ Oats. Kidding. It’s Hall and Oats. Play and talk about all your favorites and of course rock on.🤘🏻🤘🏻

Songs of Your Life

There are songs I hear that immediately remind me of something. Maybe a time or place or someone in my life. “Manic Monday” reminds me of my wife because that song was popular when we were dating. “Peaceful Easy Feeling” or “Simple Man” reminds me of my teen years. Anything by George Jones reminds me of my Dad. Anything gospel reminds me of my Mom. What are the songs of your life? Post songs and the reasons behind why they mean so much to you.

For my first thread I thought I would combine two of my favorite things:Halloween and music. Post songs with Halloween related words in the title such as Witchy Woman. Or maybe in the lyrics.
